Local Burglary Update

Here’s an update on burglary locally.

On 8th July 2026 at approximately 09:30hrs, a suspect was captured on CCTV on the driveway of a property on Parkhill Road. The suspect was seen using a rock to smash an internal window. No entry was gained at the time.

Later that day, on 8th July 2026, the occupiers of a property on Hurst Road left their home at approximately 11:00hrs, ensuring that it was locked and secure. They returned at approximately 16:00hrs and upon entering the property immediately noticed that the kitchen window had been smashed.
An untidy search had been carried out in the upstairs bedrooms. A quantity of jewellery had been stolen from the property.

Across London, we’re now arresting more than 1,000 extra criminals every month and seeing local crimes like burglary, robbery and theft start to fall, with ‘neighbourhood crime’ down 14%.
